Plus, it’s currently 14% off for Black Friday, retailing at just $215.
Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.
This compact device comes with a SmartSensor, that works by focusing on the rooms you use the most, balancing out hot and cold spots so every space feels just right. At the same time, it helps you save energy, cutting heating and cooling costs by up to 26% annually.
What’s even better is that it also looks out for the air you breathe. It monitors air quality and nudges you with tips to improve it, like reminding you when to change your furnace filter. Plus, ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium can detect smoke alarms and even alert you to possible break-ins when paired with the ecobee Smart Security plan. Sudden temperature drops that might signal a problem, like a burst pipe risk, won’t go unnoticed either; it’s got your back with timely notifications.
You’ll also appreciate that it’s voice-enabled, which gives you the choice of Siri or Alexa to control your home. Installation is straightforward as well. If your house doesn’t have a C-wire, the included Power Extender Kit can still ensure a safe setup. Plus, it’s compatible with most HVAC systems, so it’s likely a perfect fit for your setup.
Grab it before it runs out. If you are looking to invest in home security as well, consider getting your hands on the ecobee Total security bundle that features a smart camera, SmartSensor and a Smart Thermostat Premium – all at a 24% discount.
